Target Audience: Staff within Student Services

The aims of these two 3-hour workshops are to enable participants to develop a shared understanding of:
• the systematic nature of racism (participants will be asked to draw parallels with other ‘isms’ as well as be conscious of the added complexities of intersectionality);
• the impact on feelings, behaviour and relationships at work;
• unconscious bias and cognitive dissonance;
• the need to promote inclusion to ensure working environments in which all staff can thrive and, therefore, provide the best quality services and support to clients and all stakeholders;
