Course Description

Research integrity can often seem like an abstract concept, yet it is actually an essential aspect of research quality, influencing the robustness of our outcomes and the impact of them. Researchers are often engaging in best practice in research integrity, without necessarily calling it by its name!

In just one hour, this workshop will introduce you to key concepts in research integrity and explore practical examples of what research integrity looks like, why it is important for our research, research users and research culture. Using case studies, this session will support you to engage with complex situations around integrity which you can reflect on, discuss take-aways from and apply to your own contexts.

The session will be led by colleagues who are responsible for enabling research integrity at Strathclyde, so it will be an opportunity to find out where to go for support. Additional signposting will be presented and included in the slides for you to take away.
