Target Audience: All staff and post grad researchers involved in leading, conducting or supporting research
Course Description;
This session will highlight key areas where members of the Library’s Scholarly Publications and Research Data Team can help Strathclyde researchers make their research available and accessible to a global audience. Themes that will be covered include: a brief overview of open access and open research data; identifying options for open access publishing through journals and other platforms; using DOIs for grey literature, reports, working papers, etc.; how to make documents accessible for users of Strathprints; and best practice for data access statements.
The format will be a brief presentation on each topic followed by a period for questions from audience members.
