Course Description;

This session is being delivered by the University Health and Wellbeing Manager – Kevin Donovan. The workshop will explore what workplace wellbeing is and why it is important. The session will explore the link between wellbeing and belonging and what it means to be a Strathclyder.  

There will be an opportunity to understand the different types of support available to you as a colleague and how to access this support. 

The workshop will then look at how we can support our own wellbeing and introduce the idea of a personal ‘wellbeing charter’ 

There will be time at the end for questions, answers and discussion with Kevin

  • Learn about the support available to you and how you can support your own wellbeing

  • There will be audience participation  
  • You are asked to attend the whole session  
  • This will be a short session without a break  
  • The session is relaxed – this means you can stretch, move around, stim etc.  
  • In line with current University health and safety guidance, attendees may wish to use face masks. The room will have either mechanical ventilation or passive ventilation (i.e. open windows)  
  • Digital copies of resources will be emailed to participants after delivery as standard
