    Building resilience is a process that involves developing the mental and emotional strength to cope with challenges. It can take time and effort, but it's possible to learn and grow from difficult experiences.

Target Audience: Open to all students

This online series of 1-hour workshops is delivered by two of our cognitive behaviour therapists, Ann-Louise Cheshire and Cara Milor. 

Like building a muscle, increasing your resilience takes time and intentionality. Focusing on core components can empower you to withstand and learn from difficult experiences. To increase your capacity for resilience to weather—and grow from—the difficulties, the building resilience course sets out an easy to follow strategy which will allow you to increase your capabilities and learn and develop different ways to cope.

Prerequisites

Just an open and inquisitive attitude towards yourself and the possibility of change. When booking please remember that if you sign up but don't attend, you have blocked someone else from attending, so please ensure you can attend at the time, and if you can't remember to cancel your booking in advance so someone who can attend can take your place.
