Complete Programme

Whether it is with managers, PIs, collaborators, examiners or friends and family, we all need to interact constructively and sustainably with a great diversity of people and to establish effective and lasting relationships – even in difficult or challenging circumstances. If you find it difficult to say no, hard to give feedback, tricky to negotiate or just plain uncomfortable to ask for what you want, you might be feeling the urgency of that need.

So, how does such communication work, and is it possible to do it with a degree of confidence, even if the outcome isn’t guaranteed? Are there ideas and tools that help, particularly when things get difficult? Of course, there are many, and putting one or two of them into practice is what makes a difference, even if sometimes we fear they will lead to a lot more work than we have time or energy for.

In these confidential and highly interactive workshops, we look at fundamental practices for effective interactions – and encourage you to put them into practice with real challenges from your world. That way, we explore the material first-hand, and make it applicable straight away.

The two sessions are to be held online. For greater efficacy, they are designed to be taken together. When you sign up for both, the second workshop includes an hour before the main body of that session to review your practice between sessions and to pick everyone’s mind about putting these tools and ideas to good use
