Course Description

VR-based training offers a transformative approach to staff development in education. By utilizing immersive technology, educators can improve their teaching skills and engage students more effectively. With the rapid growth of VR technology, now is the ideal time to adopt this trend and enhance classroom teaching through effective use of VR.

Program Overview:

In collaboration with the BODYSWAP VR platform, this innovative training program is designed to empower educators with cutting-edge VR technology to enhance their teaching skills and classroom engagement. Participants will receive VR headsets and engage in immersive experiences that focus on essential areas such as customer management, improving customer experience, healthcare, and operations management. One key aspect of the program is soft skills development, so inviting staff from all disciplines, including engineering and medical, to attend.

Course Structure:

This program consists of an interactive session , lasting two hours, featuring a blend of VR-based training and immersive library reviews.

Session Highlights:

  - Immersive Learning: Experience VR-based modules that cover key topics with a maximum duration of 15 minutes each, allowing for focused learning and retention.

   - AI Feedback: Participants will receive spontaneous, AI-generated feedback on their responses, enhancing the learning experience and promoting self-reflection.

   - Live Support: Access live assistance from the BODYSWAP team and program leads throughout the training session, ensuring a supportive learning environment

   - Application Guidance: Post-workshop support will focus on applying learned concepts to specific teaching areas, with additional resources available through mobile and desktop applications.

 Follow-Up and Progress Tracking:

Staff interested in integrating VR techniques into their teaching practices will receive ongoing support, including progress tracking in their application areas. A follow-up session later in the year will assess the impacts and effectiveness of the interventions implemented from the training.

Future Opportunities:

Based on participant feedback and outcomes, more bespoke sessions will be scheduled in the new year for staff eager to further develop and refine their skills in VR.
