Innovation in a Place of Useful Learning

Following its return last year, Strathclyde’s annual Teaching and Learning Day takes place again in 2026, bringing colleagues together to reflect on, celebrate, and shape outstanding education and student experience at the University.

This University‑wide development opportunity is open to all staff involved in teaching and supporting learning. The programme (to be circulated nearer the event) will showcase diverse, innovative and evidence‑informed practices from across our four Faculties and Professional Services Directorates.

The day will be both practical and thought‑provoking, with a clear focus on programme‑level curriculum design, educational leadership, and student experience.

Keynote sessions and panel discussions will invite participants to explore what innovative education look like in the context of Strathclyde’s well-defined educational strategy and values. Colleagues from across the University will contribute through lightning talks, practical demonstrations, poster presentations, or marketplace stalls.

Programme to follow. Lunch will be served
