Neil offers a slower, more comprehensive approach to yoga. He is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with others, whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.
Neil said: “As I near the end of my training, I need to be observed teaching classes. This is where you come in! I’d love for you to join me as I lead this class of fellow yoga enthusiasts.
Yoga offers benefits for everyone—whether you want to improve posture, reduce injury, clear your mind, or just find balance in daily life. If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to join me on the mat.
I’ve always been an active person and love the outdoors. Yoga was introduced to me in my 20’s to help with postural issues from a fractured spine. Yoga improved my alignment and flexibility, but I also noticed better performance in my sports, particularly in sports like skiing, kayaking, and martial arts.”
Benefits of yoga and themes of the classes:
- Relieving workday physical tension from prolonged standing or sitting.
- Inviting movement and softness into the hips and surrounding area.
- Working towards a peak pose of Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose).
- Practising Square Breath or Box Breath (Decrease anxiety levels and improve sleep quality).
- Promoting finding a balance between effort and ease on and off the mat
