Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Carers - Strathclyde University
There are an extensive range of approaches and interventions which exist and are employed to support autistic children, young people and adults. As such, parents and professionals are required to make informed decisions regarding intervention options. Research studies support the view that there is no robust data favouring one approach over the others (Francis, 2005).
The aim of this session is to consider some of these approaches, their application, theoretical basis and practical stance and how they aim to support the autistic profile.
