Are you a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic (BAME) / Person of Colour (POC) Postgraduate Research (PGR) student? 

We’re inviting you to join a confidential one-hour focus group to share your experiences and insights around race equality at Strathclyde. This is a space created specifically for BAME/POC PGR students to speak openly and honestly about issues that matter. 

Topics we’ll explore include: 

  • Your sense of belonging as a BAME/POC PGR student 
  • The visibility and representation of BAME/POC students and staff in university spaces 
  • The presence or absence of racism at university 

Your feedback will help inform ongoing work on the Race Equality Charter, and the development of our 5-year action plan. 

 

This focus group is open only to BAME/POC PGR students. All disciplines and research areas welcome. Refreshments provided.

PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development

All postgraduate research students are eligible to access the Researcher Development Programme workshops. This workshop can contribute towards the PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD).

You can find credit and class information in the Researcher Development Programme Handbook and in NEPTUNE (Engineering, HaSS) or SPIDER (Science).

Please check with your department or Supervisor to confirm if you are enrolled on the PG Cert RPD and how many credits you are expected to achieve if you are unsure.
