Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: PGRs
Are you a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic (BAME) / Person of Colour (POC) Postgraduate Research (PGR) student?
We’re inviting you to join a confidential one-hour focus group to share your experiences and insights around race equality at Strathclyde. This is a space created specifically for BAME/POC PGR students to speak openly and honestly about issues that matter.
Topics we’ll explore include:
- Your sense of belonging as a BAME/POC PGR student
- The visibility and representation of BAME/POC students and staff in university spaces
- The presence or absence of racism at university
Your feedback will help inform ongoing work on the Race Equality Charter, and the development of our 5-year action plan.
This focus group is open only to BAME/POC PGR students. All disciplines and research areas welcome. Refreshments provided.
To register or find out more, please contact: Jennifer Ba, Senior Race Equality Officer, jennifer.ba@strath.ac.uk
