Target Audience: Staff (Academic & Professional Services)

During this workshop, we will achieve the following aims.

  • raise awareness of the barriers to learning that students with dynamic disabilities or fluctuating health conditions might face.
  • consider what you can do to remove these barriers for these students.
  • discuss case studies, listen to student experience and look at examples of best practice.

This workshop is an introduction to dynamic disabilities. This interactive session will combine presentation, discussion and exercises using case studies.

The workshop will last for two hours with a short break in the middle. Slides will be made available to participants. If you have any access requirements, please contact Grace Edwards (g.edwards@strath.ac.uk)

The workshop will be held on the following dates and times.

  • Thursday 13th November 2025, 10am – 12pm (In person, Wellbeing Room, TL466)

In person sessions are held within the Disability & Wellbeing Service. We are based on the fourth floor of the Learning & Teaching Building, in the Mary Dunn Wing. There is level access from Rottenrow and lift access from the ground floor entrance on Richmond Street.
