Target Audience: Students having anxiety or stress around exams
Starting university brings exciting opportunities, but it can also be overwhelming — especially when exams are approaching. Many first-year students experience stress, anxiety, and procrastination, often worrying they might fail or won’t cope with the workload. These feelings are completely normal but left unmanaged they can make it even harder to get started with revision or feel confident in your studies.
This 1-hour interactive workshop is designed specifically to provide practical, evidence-based CBT tools to manage exam anxiety, break the cycle of procrastination, and build effective study habits. You’ll learn techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, stay motivated, and manage stress so you can focus and revise more effectively. Through exercises, discussion, and personalised planning, you’ll leave with concrete strategies to approach exams calmly, confidently, and in control — helping you get the most out of your first university experience.
What we’ll cover:
- Introduction and Understanding anxiety.
- Managing Anxious Thoughts
- Practical tools to stress management
- Developing a personal plan
Registration will close at midnight on 26th October 2025.
