You’ll learn how to structure and tailor your CV for different roles, showcase your impact, use AI to support your writing, and align your LinkedIn profile with your CV.

This online workshop is designed for those who want to transition into other roles.

In this practical session, you’ll learn how to create a clear, compelling CV that showcases your skills, experience, and achievements in a way that resonates with employers. We’ll break down what employers actually look for in a CV, how to structure and format your document for maximum impact, and how to tailor it effectively to different roles and sectors.

You’ll also learn how to use AI as a practical tool to support your CV writing process. The session will also cover how to align your LinkedIn profile with your CV to strengthen your overall professional brand.

Course Outcomes/Objectives;

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Learn how to create a clear, professional CV using the right structure
  • Learn how to tailor your CV for different roles, industries, and job descriptions
  • Present your experience and achievements in a way that highlights impact and value
  • Use AI tools strategically to support CV development
  • Gain practical tips for writing a LinkedIn profile that complements your CV

Accessibility

For online activity:

  • The session will take place on Zoom
  • Auto-captions will be enabled
  • There will / will not be audience participation
  • You can keep your camera off / You are asked to keep your camera on
  • You can drop into the session / You are asked to attend the whole session
  • There will be a break / There will be several breaks throughout the session
  • The session is relaxed – this means you can stretch, move around, stim etc.
