Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Learning Advisers on the graduate and degree apprenticeships programmes.
This two-hour session for learning advisers will look at having quality conversations during the apprentice progress review meetings in our graduate and degree apprentice programmes. We will have a specific focus on eliciting information from our ‘reluctant’ 1st year students.
Session Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the purpose and impact of quality progress review conversations.
- Apply effective questioning techniques to encourage apprentice reflection.
- Use active listening and coaching strategies to deepen engagement.
- Practice structuring conversations that support development and accountability.
