Mindfulness Programme
This April, the whole university community is invited to take part in a refreshing four‑session set of mindfulness workshops led by Sarah Lavery, a fully trained mindfulness teacher. Whether you’re completely new to mindfulness or already familiar with the practice, you’re welcome to join any session that appeals to you. Attend one, two, or all four—the choice is yours.
All sessions will be run online over Teams.
Session 3: Mindful Eating
Wednesday 29 April 2026, 12:00–12:45 (Online – Teams)
This session offers a calm, wellbeing‑focused introduction to mindful eating, encouraging a gentler pace and a deeper appreciation of food. It highlights how simple moments of pausing can enhance enjoyment and support more balanced eating habits. Participants will explore the core ideas behind mindful eating, consider how these practices can be woven into everyday routines, and take part in a guided sensory activity designed to help them reconnect with the flavours, textures, and experiences of what they eat and drink.
Additional Information
Maximum numbers: 20 participants per session
If interest is strong, additional sessions will be offered over the summer months.
