The aim of this session is to focus on children's needs and what that may mean for carers.
The Centre for Excellence for Children's Care and Protection (CELCIS) here at Strathclyde University, who have a focus on child welfare and protection, will be delivering this session.
The session will be hosted by Ruth Sills, Protecting Children Lead and Joe McGinty, Protecting Children Consultant, who will discuss the current pressures on children and young people with a particular focus on the impact of trauma, the increase in mental health concerns and the benefits and risks of the online world for children and young people and the challenges this can bring for parents and carers.
