Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: post-natal women, women considering conceiving, and women who have gone through significant physical or hormonal bodily changes.
A newer addition to Strathclyde Sport, Hyrox classes can seem to be intimidating if you have not been to one before. This class will be suitable for all fitness levels and offer various adaptions for exercises. The session will focus more on the foundation and technique of Hyrox movements as opposed to speed or intensity. (Due to the nature of this class, we are not recommending this for women who are currently pregnant. If you are pregnant and you would like to come and observe the class, please email Cat on c.mann@strath.ac.uk to arrange this).
- This is a free session and open to all members of the Strathclyde community
- Please arrive to Strathclyde Sport with plenty of time to change and to get to the Hyrox area
- Please come in appropriate gym wear and bring a bottle of water
- Please ensure that you have been cleared by a doctor or qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program
- Due to the nature of this class, we are not recommending this for women who are currently pregnant.
