Target Audience: Open to academic, research, KE & technical staff eligible to apply for funding proposals for research or knowledge exchange projects. Open to APS staff that support funding proposals for research or knowledge exchange projects.

The session aims to develop the skills necessary to successfully use the Worktribe Pre-Award and Opportunities module. It covers essential topics, identifying opportunities (funding calls), project (proposal) creation, budget (costing) creation, reporting and search functions. The session will guide you through a module overview, the wider process and associated workflow.
Each session will equip attendees with the skills to effectively use the Worktribe Pre-Award and Opportunities module based on their role. Sessions will be tailored to your role permissions using examples based on relevant funders. Time will be dedicated for questions and discussion.
Essential for all colleagues involved in developing or supporting funding proposals for research or knowledge exchange.
Course Outcomes/Objectives;
Objectives:
1. Equip participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively use Worktribe Pre-Award and Opportunities module
2. Provide a comprehensive understanding of the Worktribe interface
3. Introduce key functions including identifying an opportunity, creating a project (proposals), creating a budget (costing), searching and reports.
4. Provide resources for further support via the Worktribe Training Hub
Learning outcomes: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Navigate and use the Worktribe interface
2. Identify funding Opportunities
3. Create and manage project (proposal) records
4. Develop project budgets, including understanding approvals
5. Understand end-to-end workflow and available support

When applying for a course, you should note that there will be a £50* charge to your Department / School if you do not attend your place on the course. There will be no charge as long as you cancel your booked place before the event or notify our staff at osdu@strath.ac.uk that you can no longer attend.
A Department / School is welcome to send someone else in your place if they wish without incurring a charge, providing that person has the necessary prerequisites for the course. In the case of courses split over more than one day, you are expected to attend ALL parts of the course.
*This is the standard charge for cancellation or non-attendance of a course of 1-day duration or less. For some courses, there may be a higher cancellation charge and if this is the case you will be advised of this at the time of booking.
