Target Audience: Carers Network
Functional Reflex Therapy (FRT) is a gentle, relaxation-based approach that uses simple, structured touch routines to support calm, connection and emotional wellbeing. The routines are non-invasive, easy to learn, and can be used safely at home and in everyday settings.
This hands-on workshop gives parents and carers the chance to learn FRT techniques and put them into practice. The focus is on your own wellbeing: you'll learn routines you can use for self-care, as well as calming techniques to share with the people you care for.
The workshop is designed to help you:
- Support wellbeing
- Relieve tension
- Improve mood
- Encourage relaxation
- Reduce stress and distress
- Share calming routines with family members

- Session 2 (feet): Wednesday 4 November, 10:00–12:30
