Participants will learn how to make meaningful connections and maintain professional relationships that support their career. We explore current networking challenges including online presence, digital visibility, inclusive networking and how to stand out with curiosity, credibility and generosity.

Participants will self-assess their current network and explore a systematic approach to expanding their network, including how to prepare for events, make strong first impressions, and navigate small talk. The session includes practical tips for starting and ending conversations, following up with contacts, and building a sustainable network. Participants create and practice their own introductory ‘pitch’  to help start conversations and explore strategies for networking online and in person.
