Target Audience: All Staff and PGR
What does meaningful menopause support at work look like, and how can we build it together?
Join us for a networking breakfast and an engaging morning exploring menopause, wellbeing and working life at Strathclyde. Whether you experience menopause yourself, support someone who does, manage colleagues or simply want to understand more, you are warmly welcome.
The morning will include:
-
Practical insights from Lindsay Dick on her work around menopause, yoga and movement.
-
Findings from Charlotte Cannon’s research into menopause in higher education, exploring workplace culture, disclosure and support.
-
A staff feedback and panel discussion with Executive Team members Gillian Docherty and Louise McKean, alongside Charlotte and Lindsay.
This is an opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives and help shape what inclusive support should mean for colleagues experiencing menopause. Your views will inform a series of follow-up events in 2027 and help us identify where practical changes could make a difference.
We particularly encourage colleagues of all genders to attend. Understanding menopause and creating a supportive workplace is something we can all contribute to. There is no expectation to share personal experiences.
