Target Audience: Newly Appointed Staff to the University
The University holds staff induction seminars three times per year.
The seminar will take place in the Graham Hills Building, Level 5, Teaching Cluster. This can be easily accessed by entering the Graham Hills Building via the Richmond Street entrance.
Registration will take place at 9:15am followed by a few short presentations including;
University Structure, Strategy and Finance
Following the presentations, a Marketplace will be available where staff can find out about University of Strathclyde facilities, benefits and support available from a variety of Professional Services departments. Whilst enjoying refreshments, new staff will be able to browse through the Marketplace and meet with representatives from a number of these departments, who will be on hand to provide information and to answer any queries.
The Marketplace will last for 30 minutes and will be followed by 10 minute information taster sessions, which will run simultaneously.
New staff can choose to attend Human Resources, Student Experience & Enhancement Services, Information Services or Researcher Development sessions. These sessions are repeated, allowing staff the opportunity to attend 2 of the 4 sessions.
