Target Audience: Research and Academic Staff

On the first Wednesday of every month Stuart Boon will presnt a topic relevant to research writing.  On the third Wednesday of the month, come along and use a quiet space to plan and develop your writing with an opportunity for further support if required.

The topics will be covered as follows:

  • Wednesday 5th October - Achieving High Quality Academic Writing
  • Wednesday 2nd November - Using Formal Language Effectively
  • Wednesday 7th December - Improving Grammar and Syntax
  • Wednesday 11th January - Writing for Different Audiences
  • Wednesday 1st February - Drafting For Quality
  • Wednesday 1st March - Proofing For Success
  • Wednesday 5th April - Achieving High Quality Academic Writing
  • Wednesday 3rd May - Using Formal Language Effectively
  • Wednesday 7th June - Improving Grammar and Syntax
