This course explains the way FMS will be used to manage 'Projects' and 'Sub Projects'.
++ Note that this course does NOT cover the creation of Research and KE projects, which will continue to be created in the relevant RKES systems ++
This course will enable you to understand:
- Project types and categories
- how access to Project and Sub Projects is managed and controlled
- the relationship between Sub Project / Project / Main Project
- the structure of the Project masterfiles
- how Projects and Sub Projects are managed: Finance and Department roles
- workflow and alerts
- VAT setup on Sub Projects
- Project and Sub Project status codes
- the enquiries and reports that can be produced for Projects and Sub Projects
- how to set up and maintain Projects and Sub Projects including attaching documents
