The Summer Course (Re)Design challenge aims to provide a network of support for staff who would like to (re)design courses or aspects of their teaching, but who struggle to find the time to do this. Staff will attend 3 half day workshops where they will be provided with input and support for their (re)design. Staff will be encouraged to consider online and blended approaches to learning in order to support providing a flexible and innovative environment for students. In the first session participants will be introduced to the 7 Cs  of Learning Design, which they can use a framework for their (re)design; the second session will include a discussion of various pedagogical approaches; and the third session will focus on storyboarding courses and aligning teaching activities with planned objectives, outcomes, and assessment practices. Peer review and feedback will be encouraged throughout the process.

Participants have the option of completing an additional reflective piece of work to obtain 20 credits towards the SPARK Programme. For further details please contact Katy Savage kathleen.savage@strath.ac.uk
