Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Research Staff (e.g. Research Assistants, Research Associates, Research Fellows)
This is a session of the monthly Researcher Meet-up, a series of informal get-togethers for researchers to connect with peers and learn about initiatives and services at Strathclyde:
Come and join us to get to know your fellow researchers and learn more about what’s going on around the University for research staff.
The event will start with a short presentation by a speaker from one of Strathclyde’s many services, initiatives and units, followed by time for questions, discussions and a bit of informal networking.
You can find more information about the Researcher Meet-Up series as well as other session dates here.
The topic for this session on the 31st March, 11am-12pm, will be ‘Research Integrity’, so we will be exploring different aspects of research integrity – from authorship and trusted research to research ethics and misconduct, what you need to know about it as a researcher and where you can find additional support.
Our colleagues from the Research Integrity Team in RKES will join us to introduce you to some of the key concepts and resources as well as being there to answer any practical, hypothetical or other questions you may have around integrity.
Course Outcomes/ Objectives:
- Meet other researchers at Strathclyde
- Learn about University initiatives and services for researchers
- Share your experiences and potential issues with peers
