Target Audience: Research Staff (e.g. Research Assistants, Research Associates, Research Fellows)
This is a session of the monthly Researcher Meet-up, a series of informal get-togethers for researchers to connect with peers and learn about initiatives and services at Strathclyde:
Come and join us to get to know your fellow researchers and learn more about what’s going on around the University for research staff.
The event will start with a short presentation by a speaker from one of Strathclyde’s many services, initiatives and units, followed by time for questions, discussions and a bit of informal networking.
You can find more information about the Researcher Meet-Up series as well as other session dates here.
The topic for this session on the 26th April, 1-2pm, will be 'Collaborating with Industry' where we will be exploring knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs) as an example of researchers and professionals in industry working together.
Prof Chris Price, Chair in Industrial Crystallisation at Strathclyde, and Dr Simon Coleman, Product Manager at AWL, will join us to share experiences of their KTP and answer any questions you may have about partnerships, collaborating across sectors and working with / in industry.
