Target Audience: Research Staff (e.g. Research Assistants, Research Associates, Research Fellows)
This is a session of the monthly Researcher Meet-up, a series of informal get-togethers for researchers to connect with peers and learn about initiatives and services at Strathclyde:
Come and join us to get to know your fellow researchers and learn more about what’s going on around the University for research staff.
The event will start with a short presentation by a speaker from one of Strathclyde’s many services, initiatives and units, followed by time for questions, discussions and a bit of informal networking.
You can find more information about the Researcher Meet-Up series as well as other session dates here.
The topic for this session on the 25th May, 11am-12pm, will be 'Social Media for Research Impact'.
We will hear from a number of Strathclyde's Social Media Champions about their experiences in using social media platforms for supporting their research - from expanding their professional network and increasing their visibility to engaging with stakeholders and potential collaborators for their projects.
Come along to find out more about how using social media can help your research and what support there is available for you at Strathclyde.
