Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: All staff and postgraduate researchers involved in leading, conducting or supporting research
This is a live, on-campus event with an option for hybrid participation.
Join us for an engaging exploration of the intersection between generative AI technologies and research integrity in this joint event with the Scottish Research Integrity Network (SRIN).
As AI algorithms become more sophisticated and present within our everyday lives, they are also increasingly involved in research processes. While this use of AI tools can offer a range of new opportunities in making research more efficient, accessible and open to new directions and approaches, the research community also faces new challenges and uncertainty around aspects, such data privacy, bias and transparency which can impact the integrity of their research.
With a distinguished panel of expert speakers, we will hear different perspectives on the ethical and integrity considerations of using AI technologies in research and will have an opportunity to discuss the potential challenges and opportunities in more detail.
