Target Audience: All staff involved in leading, conducting or supporting research.

This is a live, on-campus event.

This joint event with the Scottish Research Integrity Network (SRIN) will provide an opportunity for discussion around the implications of AI use for research integrity, in terms of how it can help and/or hinder the research community to uphold the core principles of honesty, rigour, transparency and open communication, care and respect, and accountability.

Using a fishbowl discussion format, participants will be able to take on alternating roles between sharing their views and listening to those of others in the room, as it will be interesting to hear from experts as well as those interested or concerned about using AI in their work.

The workshop will follow a panel discussion on integrity and ethics in AI in the morning (10:00-11:30) which will offer an introductory view on the topic as well as some discussion starters.

This event will be followed by a networking lunch from 1pm, offering an opportunity for continued discussion and networking among Strathclyde and external participants.
