Course Description;

A Narrative CV allows researchers to showcase their full range of accomplishments, skills, and contributions beyond traditional metrics-based CVs. Developed initially by the Royal Society, this format is gaining popularity among funders including UKRI.

This panel event will provide an introduction to the narrative CV format, which is increasingly being adopted by research funders in grant applications and by universities in recruitment and promotion. You may also want to join us for an interactive workshop immediately after this panel event, which will support researchers to develop their own narrative CV – Register here for the accompanying workshop.

Join us to discuss the motivation behind the introduction of Narrative CVs and hear from researchers with experience of developing and using their Narrative CVs. With plenty of opportunity for Q&A, this panel discussion will feature short talks:

  • Introduction to the Narrative CV
  • Introduction to the Team Narrative CV
  • Sharing Experiences with Writing a Narrative CV
