Target Audience: SBS Academic & Administrative Staff

The Myplace Activities and Resources session is designed to introduce SBS academic and administrative staff to the diverse array of educational activities and resources available within Myplace. Myplace has a long list of different educational activities to create an interactive, collaborative, and enriched class. Participants will gain an understanding of the purpose, structure, and best practices for utilizing these tools to create interactive, collaborative, and engaging learning experiences for students.

Topics covered are:

  • The benefits of online resources.
  • Myplace Activities Exploration.
  • Myplace Resources Explained.
  • File Types for documents, audio, video, graphics.
  • The Leganto Reading List.
  • Activity flow and visibility.
  • Engaging Activities (H5P, Checklist, Quiz, Blog, Database, Workshop).
  • How to divide sections (Weeks, Topics, Categories, Hybrid).

The purpose of this session is to present various Myplace-supported educational activities and link them to the SBS educational strategy and goals to enhance your educational scenario. By the end of this session, you should be able to create a set of activities, flow and structure that works for you and your teaching style. This session focuses on the needs of the audience.
